Located in the heart of Zambales, the Botolan District of the Department of Education (DepEd) plays a vital role in shaping the minds of future generations. Comprising two main divisions – Botolan South and Botolan North – this district is committed to providing quality education to its students.

About Botolan District

The Botolan District is one of the 15 districts under DepEd Zambales from Subic to Sta Cruz. It covers a total of 43 schools, with 24 schools in Botolan South and 19 schools in Botolan North. The district is headed by a District Supervisor, PSDS Blesilda Dedicatoria Fontanilla Ed.D, who oversees the implementation of DepEd programs and policies.

2018 Best Brigada Eskwela Implementer: The district was awarded as one of the best implementers of the Brigada Eskwela program in Zambales.

2019 Outstanding District in Zambales: The Botolan District was recognized as one of the outstanding districts in Zambales for its excellent performance in the National Achievement Test.
